— Overview

VitalBoost is a pocket food-label assistant. Point your phone at any product, and an AI pipeline distills the small print into plain words — what is in it, what it does, and whether it deserves a place in your basket.

— Inside

What it does.

One-shot scan

Capture a label and get a structured nutrition summary in seconds.

Five-engine fallback

Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, Groq — five AI providers, queued for resilience.

No data sale

Scans are processed and forgotten. We do not sell or share your health information.

Plain language

Nutrition jargon translated into language a tired parent can read at the supermarket.

— Notes

Notes from the studio

VitalBoost — originally known as ScanSense and briefly as MediScribe — started as a tool for someone in the team's family who could not read tiny ingredient print at the store. It grew into the thing in the studio that gets the most messages from friends.

The five-provider fallback is unromantic but necessary. When one API stalls, the next picks up. The result is an app that almost always answers, even on a thin connection in a supermarket aisle.

We are taking VitalBoost slowly through closed testing. Health content deserves patience.
