Notes from the studio
MasalAnlat began as a quiet question: why does so much children's content feel sanded down? Both the classic European tradition (Grimm, Andersen, La Fontaine) and the Turkish and Eastern traditions have texture — wolves who win, witches who lose, princes who get the wrong answer. We kept that texture and added a voice that reads at the speed a parent would.
Recording fifty tales in ten voices took longer than we expected. The technology was the easy part; choosing how each narrator sounded — the woman who laughs between sentences, the older man who almost whispers — took weeks of listening.
The branching reader is small for now. A handful of tales let the listener pick what comes next. We'll grow that part slowly, one tale at a time.
